ESBC Week 4: Crawl [The Final Week!]
After last weeks blanket roll, crawl should be fairly simple.
Nicole and I just wanted to thank everyone for their amazing participation. We are so proud of everyone, 2 legs and 4. We could have never expected just a fantastic outcome when we decided to do our little challenge. We truly appreciate all the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm you have given throughout these past 4 weeks.
We’ve decided since so many of you were/are so excited about learning new tricks, we thought it would be fun to continue on with ESBC. It wouldn’t be every week, but every 2 weeks or every month. If you’re interested in this, please let us now!
Good luck to everyone on their final week of ESBC! [Don’t forget there will be a prize rewarded at the end of the challenge!]

Advice from Sawyer’s Mom: Try creating a tunnel with your legs, lure your dogs under your legs to keep them moving in the down position.
Also, if your dog keeps standing up, try moving a treat between their paws from side to side, slowly inching forward.
If you run into trouble - post or ask a question on Tumblr! If we can’t help, someone out there will know!
Tips: Remember to keep training sessions short (no longer than 15 minutes) and fun! This is play for everyone.
How You Can Show Off on Sunday:
If you have Tumblr, and are going to upload to your blog. Please use the tag: ESBC . We have been liking and reblogging all the posts using that particular tag and will continue to do so through-out the challenge.
If you don’t have Tumblr, we will turn on Submit on Sunday so that you can post to Emma or us a link/pictures/video of your tricks. If you want you can also leave a comment on Disqus.

ESBC Week 3: Blanket Roll

I have to say, I’m pretty impressed with Sawyer on this one. She’s as excited about this trick as I am (it’s probably the jackpot she gets after she does it)

I think it’s totally cute and hilarious!

Also, towards the end of the video we tried to go back to the original blanket we use, but clearly it’s just too heavy.

Enjoy!

Sawyer isn’t taking the whole blanket with her. Any advise?

We need to catch up with training. We didn’t get a chance to train much during this hectic week. But here’s a pic of Kuma sitting pretty with a lure.

Great job, Kuma!

ESBC Week 2: Sit Pretty.

Yay! Another week in the books, fantastic job guys - you are your pups are all crushing these challenges.

I decided about half way through the week that I wanted to use a clicker for this one. It seemed like my “goods” weren’t get through to Sawyer, as soon as I started using the clicker she was totally understanding what I was asking. She’s still leaning forward a bit, and we will continue to work on this. Please excuse my brother in the background and my high pitched “pretty”

First on behalf of Nicole (Emma’s mom) and myself, I just wanted to congratulate everyone that has participated in ESBC so far. The first week was super successful and it was great to see everyone’s pups improve through-out the week. Great job, everyone!

Here’s our final compilation of bow training from start to finish! We had a lot of fun learning this and, as usual, Loki surprised me with how eager and smart he is. We can’t wait until next week’s trick to learn!

… He can do it from across the room? Wow. How do I get Enma to listen that well?!

Seriously, I think Loki is a super dog.
